Post Commander: 2009/2010; Bobby Blanton
Welcome to the online home of
American Legion Post 356. We are excited about the upcoming year at the Post. Our heartfelt thanks go out to our Past-Commander; Debra Brooks for all of her hard work and dedication. We look forward to working with her on the Executive Committee. We hope you will surf through
the pages of our site and familiarize yourself with all the American Legion has
to offer. The American Legion is family
oriented. We have something for everyone—the American Legion Auxiliary, Sons of the American
Legion and the American Legion Riders love to visit with new folks as much as
the Legion does. Check out
our events, news and photo pages, too, so you don’t miss any of the fun. If you are already a member—we encourage
you to get involved. Service
to our community is what we’re all about!
If you are a veteran in need of assistance, please email one of our
officers through the
link(s) on our Officer’s page. If you’d like to be a member, but are unsure if you
qualify, check out our Membership page for more information. Chances are you qualify for membership to at least one of our
branches. If you do not qualify for
membership, but still want to support our organization look into our Events and
News pages often, as there are many ways the public can get involved in
supporting our troops, our youth and our community through American Legion
programs. Please make
yourself at home here and check out all the wonderful ways the American Legion
is Still Serving. I hope to see you around the Post-- Bobby Blanton Be sure to visit our "Links" page! You can find many useful links to American Legion Information. NEW!
